* Learning self-esteem building techniques to enhance adolescent self-image.
*Understanding role and management of healthy/unhealthy anger.
* Learning assertiveness skills for successful relationships.

Girltalk- Communication and Social Skills Workshops for Girls

Facilitated by Claudia Fraga, LCSW and Co-Director Susana R. LMHC

Topics include: Relationships with Peers, Body Image, Social Skills, Assertiveness, Problem Solving, Coping Skills, Relaxation Skills and Goal Setting.Groups are interactive and build upon your daughter,s strengths, character development and values.Groups assigned for ages 9-11 and 12-14 year olds.

Theology of the Body for Girls – 6th grade through 8th grade

Facilitated by Claudia Fraga, LCSW; Susana R. Cetta, LMHC. Topics include the following:

  • What is the purpose of my life and how do I see my identity?
  • What are societal messages about what it means to be “female”?
  • Can I live my Catholic faith no matter how I messed up in the past?
  • How do I portray myself as a woman?
  • How do I balance family, friends, school, God, music
    TV, internet, texting, etc., in my daily life?
  • Curriculum has received the Imprimatur by Archbishop Gregory Aymond, of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.

Theology of the Body for Boys – 6th grade through 8th grade

Facilitated by Eduardo J. Fraga & Claudia Fraga, MS Topics include the following:

  • What is the purpose of my life?
  • Are there consequences to my actions?
  • What is the difference between love and lust?
  • Curriculum has received the Imprimatur by Archbishop Gregory Aymond, of the Archdiocese of New Orleans.
